Ecotopia is about changing the way we live everyday such as using environmental friendly mugs instead of buying plastic cups that you only use once then throw out. With our environmental friendly mugs you can use our mug every day saving the ocean from plastic cups. At least 8 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans every year, and make up 80% of all marine debris from surface waters to deep-sea sediments. ... Marine species ingest or are entangled by plastic debris, which causes severe injuries and deaths. In Batemans Bay, our main recreations are swimming, fishing and surfing. When you go out to our local beaches you will see plastic cups, plastic bags and old food that have been put into the sewers and into the ocean that is killing the environment. Our class wants to help our local area with stopping the use of single use cups and plastic bags. Using reusable mugs you can use everyday instead of throwing out your cup every morning. We hope you enjoy looking at our products, and supporting this important cause.
